    All,
I'm planning on switching to a Crucial m4 512GB SSD once I receive my XPS 15. According to the Crucial website, it will work.

I'm just posting to see if:
    - anyone has stuck in an m4 and how it's working out
    - there are other/better suggestions
    - I should do a clean install OR use data transfer kit
    - I use data transfer kit, I read that there are a bunch of settings I need to adjust
    - there are any other tips, etc.
    - someone can point me to a post with step by step instructions (did several searches and only found minimal info)

    Thanks in advance!

Besides the registry fix you will need to apply to disable LPM for the M4, it will work great. Been using mine for over 2 months and it works excellent. Take a look over at the SSD forum section for all the info you need to know about the M4 settings as well as general install questions and tweaks.
