Alrighty so I received my m1330 yesterday and overall I am happy with it. The only problem I have is with the keyboard. All the keys work fine except the spacebar. For some reason it doesn't register on the left side when typing and unfortunately this seems to be the place where I hit the spacebar the most. It's effecting my typing (I have to hit the spacebar multiple times, I have to consciously stop and make sure I hit the right side, etc.)

Also the center of the keyboard has a slight bulge. I've noticed many people have had this problem. So my question is, is it inevitable or can it be fixed by a dell technician? Will getting a new keyboard fix the spacebar?

Other than those things, the build of the computer is perfect. Great screen, no scratches, and all the buttons work. The computer itself is fine as well except for all the bloatware, which I will take care of when I go back to school and can get a free copy of vista instead of dell's recovery disk.

Oh one last thing. All I received was the computer with the sleeve, remote, manual, and CD's. I didn't get the CD case, the earphones, or the microfiber cloth. Should I ask for these if I call about the keyboard?

May as well ask, it can't hurt!

I would get them to replace the keyboard. You will have XPS premium support so they will come to your house to do it for you.

You can try asking, I just got my M1330 last week and didn't get the Case, Cloth or earbuds either. When I called I as told that they didn't come with my package.

At least you have a chance of getting them. Don't think they bundle anything with it in the UK, and we pay more for it too lol. But thats just how it is here. Used to it now! hehe
