I have 2 8gb 2400 cas17 sodimms that came with the 9560 laptop and I have 2 16gb cas15 sodimms I got for the 9550.
I decided to test them both and tbh the results are so close it is pointless upgrading low cas 2133 to higher cas 2400.
Yes I know you can get 2400 cas 15 this is just a FYI thread, also it isn't a penis contest to see who can eek out a few more MB/s as I didn't do a set test condition, I just waited for things to quieten down and ran the test a few times![]()

I was browsing Userbenchmark 9550 results yesterday. I noticed a couple of high scores around 90 by G.SKILL 2x16GB modules, while normal ones were around 70.

I'm really considering picking up 2400 CAS14 memory for mine... Will report back once I get it in the next few weeks hopefully...

RAM has gotten expensive... -
I don't know about the clock, either it can run faster than folks here think, maybe it was hacked, maybe Userbenchmark reports max clocks but it could be in fact running with a slower clock at less latency? Also the associated CPU score looks better than the rest, likely because of this. But I guess in real life the speed difference is very small (the expected difference in RAM benchmarks but hardly any in anthing else) while this RAM likely costs twice as much as ordinary. We once bought desktops with such "premium" RAM at work and then decided we wouldn't play this game anymore. -

It cost me just under £20 to upgrade the 32GB RAM from 2133 to 2400 to bring it inline with what Dell ships with, same cas 17 timings and similar test results so I am happy enough
Quick and dirty DDR4 speed tests.
