Here's a bizzare problem I have right now. I came back home to use my XPS M1530 laptop... and then I decided to bring the laptop to basement, as it offered much cooler room temperature than my boiling room. So I turned the laptop off properly, came down to laptop and tried to turn it on.

Then my laptop went dead... kinda.

Whenever I try to turn it on, the laptop's fan start to blow out cool air... but that's all it does. The computer itself doesn't seem to start at all. I am planning to get in touch with technical support, but that's not available until tomorrow morning. (And the fact that tech. support often don't help at all and can easily kill my valuable time) Is this normal? Is there any way for me to get this laptop back working? My laptop is only about 3 weeks old. I appreciate any help.

    Thanking in advance,
    pekau

    Try the following:

Take the battery pack and AC power out

Hold the power button for 30 seconds or more

Turn it back on using AC power only
