Aswell as the harddrive i am going to upgarde the ram for 2gb to 4gb i know it can take pc2-5300 667mhz also i have heard it takes pc2-6400 800mhz if so what is the differnce between the two is it speed, temperature ect  as there is only about £8-£10 ($16-$20) between them. :) :)

800Mhz is theoretically faster but I don't think the mobo will support the higher speed. I could be wrong, (sorry if I am), but I think it's a waste of money.

Stick the RAM in the slot(s), boot, go. Nothing needs adjusting in the BIOS.

As to the 667/800 debate, your chipset only supports 667. However, 800MHz RAM will automatically down-clock to 667MHz. There is a theory that such down-clocked RAM can operate with shorter latencies (Wikipedia and Google will explain what latency is), but I have not seen any evidence to suggest this actually occurrs.
