I have compared buying a X1330 from the US against locaally in Australia and it is mostly the same $feature for $feature. This is taking into consideration the -30% saving now on from the US site and the +30% difference in the $AUS to $US. (roughly) The things like the base system of similar features and the LED screen upgrade is near same $ in both countries. BUT. the SSD (only 64G available in Aus) upgrade from 500G HD in the US is $25 where as in Australia it is $710.60 !!!!!
    Why such a difference?
At least in Aust the base model is minimum T8100 with the 8400GS.
We can purchase an 65G OZ core SSD for about $AUS250, but not as well rated as the Dell samsung. (and I would like 128G, only a $200 upgrade in US)
