    Hi all,

I've had my first big issue and have formatted and re-installed Windows 7 on the computer.

Where do I find all the latest new drivers and how do I know what I need?! I have been onto the dell site and there are several listed for the components. Please help a dumb ! I've plugged in my second monitor and it doesn't come up with anything and the usb 3 is so so slow!

What else do you recommend for a new install? Keep the partition etc?

    Thanks people

    Welcome to Home User Support

Enter your service tag and a list of drivers for your system will show up. It's pretty straightforward just match components to the drivers.

I've done this and downloaded several items.

I have a second monitor and when I plug in the HDMI for the second monitor I get nothing - any ideas why?

I have NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M and downloaded the driver off the dell site as above.

    Thanks again

Try going to the nvidia control panel to set up multiple displays.
