    Hey all,
    First heres my specs
    M1330, T7500, 3gb Ram, 8400mgs, Vista home 32 bit.
Very recently when i boot up my m1330 it takes a really long time to load. Everything loads normally until the computer passes the horizontal bar with the sliding loading thing then the camera light blinks twice and after then its a black screen for around 1:40min afterwords it continues to the login screen. I have no idea whats causing this its really annoying. Also i am not sure if this is related but whenever i am playing a video game on the m1330 like source or even a simple online flash game the game always will freeze for like 2.5sec very often which makes playing games nearly impossible. oh and not sure if this is normal but my cpu seems to be constantly running at around 60 degrees when theres no stress on it at all. and i have updated the video drivers it didn't fix a thing.
    Thanks!

Have you applied the latest video drivers? 60C all the time is too high, do the fans ever come on? Audible? What program are you using to monitor your temperatures?

yha the fans are always on, i use speedfan to monitor the temperatures.. is that related to the gaming problem? what could be going on with the long black screen on the startup any ideas?

Not good. I don't think it is related to the nVidia flaw since it is a heat cycle issue. I think your GPU could be bad since it takes so long to render the screen correctly. I'd call Dell and have them send a tech out.

hmm alrite thanks for the input.
Even if that gets solved i dont think the gpu would effect the black screen at startup. any ideas for that? anyone

The screen going blank would most likely be caused by a faulty video card.

my vostro 1310 with 8400m gs idles at 60C so that is normal for the 13.3 inch factor notebooks with dedicated GPU because it shares heatpipe with the chipset and CPU. But the problem your experiencing is probably a defective GPU

60 C is NOT normal for a CPU to be idling at.
