    Reapplied Thermal Paste Safe CPU Temp Range?

    So, just had a replacement LCD put in and was suppose to have a new mobo but dell sent the wrong piece. The dell tech forgot to attach the heatsink power so when i opened it back up i took the time to apply some new MX-2.

    However now when im watching the temps in HWmonitor and CoreTemp i see that the cores temps now fluctuate anywhere between 10 C of each other, so i could be 65 and the other 75..... I was wondering if this was safe or normal?

    What is the:

    -Ambient room temperature
    -Processor
    -Laptop (model)

    Without these 3 key pieces of information, helping you is rather hard!
