    Hello everyone,

I am experiencing the red typo lines when there are no typos. This happens on occasion when I'm typing emails and posting or responding to forums. It seems to occur when there is an actually typo and I correct the error. After that the entire post/email from that point on will have the red typo lines.

For example it is happening now... I'll try to post a pic for a better understanding.

Has anyone experience this as well and most importantly does anyone know of a solutions to this?

My unit is new and I have yet to DL Office 365 so I don't have Word. Not sure if that will matter.

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Check the language / locale your computer is configured to use.

If you're not set to US English, then it will trigger spell-check errors when you try to type English words.

Hello & thanks for the quick response.

The settings are correct when it comes to language and location. This only happens on occasion but more often than not.

The typo red lines will work as it should be. Once I make a correction the entire text from that point forward will contain the red lines.

    My notebook is:
Dell XPS 13 running Windows 10

This is an operating system/software problem not a Dell XPS issue so you may be best asking in a software forum.

Thank you - may a moderator move this over to the software section or do I have to repost?
