Hi everyone,
I gonna reformat my m1730 and setup RAID 0. I pretty happy with setting it up until I install my OS (Vista 64bit)
Do I need to install drivers for the RAID setup or will it detect ok.
If I do need drivers where do i get them from?

Just:
Go to bios(F2), enable 'raid', (the option in the middle).
Reboot
You'll have to press Ctrl+I when the Raid menu shows up
In there you create a RAID partition.
Exit after you finish, and it reboots automatically
Now put in Windows vista disk, boot off it to reinstall OS. -
Vista should have drivers enough to detect the RAID built in.
Just be sure to install the Intel Matrix Storage Manager for the P965M chipset once you're done. -
Cheers guys. Will give it a whirl 2moro
