    Im running a not overclocked xps 1530 with 8600 gt. Whats the max temp to play and what software can i use while playing so that it will alert me when its exceding X temperature.

    Another question, what 3dmark06 value should i get average (1,83ghz, 2gb ram, 8600m gt)

    Generally, you shouldnt exceed 85c after prolonged gaming

    Download HWMonitor and let it run on the background, after you play games it will show the max temps reached for your GPU, CPU and HDD

    If you have Rivatuner, you might be able to set an warning from there.
