I apologizes if this has been discussed before, I tried to search the forum but didn't find a match for my questions.

How do I get a clean install of Windows Vista with 2 partitions (on for OS the other for data and backup) without the MediaDirect, and without the notebook ****ing up if I press the MediaDirect button?

1st go to this link http://www.killdisk.com download the free version to make a bootable usb. Boot laptop with usb selected as 1st boot device, execute the program ,reinstall windows vista, add the drivers from the disc you got with the laptop and your done :D
