    How do you suggest you do this apart from taking the keys off/taking apart the laptop? I've been going with blowing using my mouth and sucking using a vacuum cleaner, but the larger bits stay ...

    you could open up some space a bit by pressing down the key, but you'll have to manually take out large pieces as you do this.

    Try using canned air with the little straw. Much more powerful than a vacuum or your mouth. :p
