    hey guys

    another victim of the 15z's wireless card :(((

    I have a centrino 6230, and when move a couple of feet away from the router, the connection is terribad!

    My olddddd laptop has an intel wifilink 6100

    Do you guys know if i can replace the centrino with this?

    If your old laptop has a 6100, it really can't be that old. That being said, the 6100 should work in the 15z, but depending on what the other machine is, the 6230 might not work in it (if you were planning to swap the two cards). Dell doesn't whilelist mini cards, whereas most other manufacturers do.

    All new laptops utilize half height WLAN cards, Intel 5100 AGN was sold either full height or half height, so you need to check which one it is. Dell does not whitelist WLAN cards in BIOS, so you should be able to use any WLAN card you please as long as you can find drivers.
