    hi guys, i had bought an xps m1330 but had to call dell and ask for a replacement because the laptops had some flaws but here's my question (i forgot to ask the guy): is the replacement going to be a 100% new laptop or a refurbished one/ made of refurbished parts? thanks

    Did you get the replacement w/in 21 days of invoice date?
    If so, yes new....if after it's usually a replacement.

    yes cin, i got the laptop on the 19th and called them today (22nd).

    the est. ship date is 9/29/2008 with "Next Business Day" shipping. it's pretty fast considering the fact that i waited two weeks for the first one.

    Inspect the replacement carefully. My replacement was full of weird things, including a plastic panel underneath that was hanging out but the screws were screwed in. How in the world would that happen when a human being has to physically screw the panel in place? I still wonder if the replacements are 100% brand new.
