I'm planning on purchasing a LPLF300 to replace the LPL0301 currently installed and I had a couple of questions
    1. Will I need to replace the inverter as well, or will the current one suffice?
    2. Any LPLF300 model screen will work, correct? Dell's isnt a proprietary hardware design or anything is it?

    Thanks in advance for answers!

LPLF300 is what Dell call the screen; the correct part number is LP154WE2-TLB2. The TLB2 refers to hole positions I think, so its important to buy that exact model!

Mine was shipped with an inverter; I believe that you would have to change the old one over for a new one, but don't quote me on that :]
