    Hey guys,

I was wondering how difficult it is to replace the keyboard on my XPS m1530, and also how difficult it is to replace the m1530 palm rest...mine is oxidised and very scratched...=(

I left my user manual back at my parent's place in Hong Kong, so I don't have it with me unfortunately. Also, if I bought a Product Red palmrest off ebay, you think Dell'd have issues with that?

    Thanks in advance.

If your pc is still under warranty for factorydefect or accidental damage, they can replace it wherever you are, just make sure to tell them what country you're in and everythin...

in my case, i live in hnduras, but i bought my pc on the USA..
    so they transferred the service...
    they'll replace it for you...

But, for what i've seen when they replaced my palmrest, i saw its not that hard to get the keyboard out, just lift the media thingy, and unscrew the screws(for keyboard), under the lappy are 4 screws u need to get out for the palmrest...
