    Hey all,

Does anyone know how to reset the bios on the XPS Studio 1640?

I can't seem to find the required jumpers. I've tried to only remove the CMOS battery for a while but that didn't work.

I need to reset the BIOS to remove the System & BIOS Password.

Looking forward to a reply! :)

    Thanks,
    Rógvi

On the other hand, if you know the password, you can go into the BIOS and remove the password from there.

I see that yes. Sorry about that.

My question might come off as me trying to hack someones laptop but this is my sisters laptop. The password appeared after she had some friends over and one of them wanted to play a trick on her.

Now we can't do anything with it.
