I am after second screen replacement on my xps m1530 and got another grainy samsung (1680 x 1050) with very bad viewing angles. Tech Support will send another replacement screen and I m sure for 99% it will be samy. Furthermore I have big hot problem - core temp is still 55 celsius degrees 10 min after turn on my lap and doing anything or using firefox. I wonder if there is any chance to return my xps to dell and get my money back - i'm using it for 3 months. They (tech supp) can't solve problem with my comp so in my oppinion they should give my money back.
    What do U think?

55c is nothing to shake a stick at. Mine idles higher than that.

As far as the screen goes, keep getting it replaced until you get a screen that satisfies you. You really don't have anything to lose.. Dell will keep replacing it until you are satisfied.

The temps are really low actually. Why are you complaining about it?

The main issue is this grainy and dull screen ... in my oppinion there is a limit of replacements. I can understand 2 replacements but sure isn't worth to change screen to the end of warranty period. With samsung wsxga+ screen nobody can be happy ... in Ireland where I bought it dell uses only samsung screens.

If you make it clear to them that you are not happy and are going to return it, they will do whatever they can to get you to keep it. Try going through Unresolved Issues on the Dell support site. I had a lot of luck talking to the reps there.
