i received this on 28th of October, it was my new 3rd XPS system provided by dell as a replacement,, i inspected thoroughly. so not have any problems like before.![]()
when i booted the system for the first time it dint boot it halted showing the error AC adapter not detectable, please use 65w or more wattage adapter for better performance, click f1 to continue.
when i format n installed vista again this error message has gone, now not have any problem with it.
when i played CRYSIS for 4 hours with medium settings the max temp reached was 74c.
the HD is 320gb WD@5400rpm, the drive is so quieter
This time i have no issues, now im happy regd my new replacement and is working fine.
also this time they havent sent me Integrated Sound Blaster Audigy ADVANCED HD Audio Software, when i received my new system Dell CSR called me that time when i got the system. i did asked him regarding the Integrated Sound Blaster Audigy ADVANCED HD, he told me that they have stopped providing this software, i asked him what about the money paid for this software, he said they have provided some other new software which comes factory installed, but i dint noticed that software in my system as i replied, he told me that call tech support and ask em, they will be knowing info on it, i did called tech support, he said i might have missed or not selected that option while configuring, or we might have not updated the web page regarding the removal of the support for sound blaster software. he told me to talk with the sales person who configured my system.
but i havent talked to him yet. but its ok, as my system is fine now, im happy wit it. im not bothering about that sound blaster software, as i was upgraded to T8100 processor from T7250
and 250gbto 320GB drive
thanks for all your support guys,
have a nice time, n keep up
bye

I am so glad that this one is working out for you! WoOT!
They say third time is charm, right!
If you wanted to push the Sound Blaster Audigy issue, I'm sure you could get somewhere..It's just how much more time do you want to put into/focus on that issue!
You seem *happy and satisfied* now...and, that's what matters most!
Enjoy that 1530 now!
