I'd like to hear some thoughts and opinions on the 1530's resolution options.

I have the the 1900 X 1200 on my E1705 and I always felt that it was just a little bit too small (and changing the dpi ends up distorting many web pages).

I'm about to order the XPS 1530.

Will the 1440 x 900 on the 15.4" screen seem as small as the 1900 X 1200 on the 17" screen? If so I will consider sticking with the default 1280x800.

    I'm definitely not going with the 1680 X 1050.

    1440*900 will be perfect.
