    Hi,

I have the XPS m1330 notebook with the 8400M GS video card. I have an external monitor (running at 1680x1050) connected with the hdmi port using a hdmi-to-dvi cable. I also have the 175.19 driver installed (running windows vista).

I am having trouble rotating the desktop to portrait mode. I went into nvidia control panel and try to rotate, but an error message keep popping up telling me it cannot rotate due to the current resolution or refresh rate.

I know the external monitor do not have portrait functionality, but I thought I could do it from the video card.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks.

P.S. I also can't seem to rotate the laptop display itself, even when not connected to any external display... Something is definitely wrong.
