I know the topic's been brought up before, but the most recent one I could find was from early summer. Just seeing if anyone had any new insight on some good SSD deals for the holiday time. Looking to get a ~250GB SSD and a bigger (500GB-1TB) HDD. I'm probably going for a WD Scorpio Black HDD, but I have no idea about the SSD. Any recommendations? Trying to spend around $500, but saving money is always good if there's a good deal to be had.

You can find brand new Samsung 470 series 256 GB SSD for ~280 on Ebay, brand new, buy it now. Used PM800 are around the same price and the 470 outperforms out.

You can also get a 300 GB Intel 320 series SSD for ~530 on Newegg.
