I have searched different combination of keywords and have been unable to locate any thread related to installation of Windows 7 on SXPS 13. Could I someone please point me to the right direction? I would very much appreciate your help.

    Thank you in advance.

That would mean there are no problems with the SXPS 13 and Windows 7 :)

I'm running with that combination and it's working fine I believe all the dell drivers work fine, but I use the the following instead (Which I find work flawlessly):

    1. Windows 7 chipset drivers from nvidia.com

    2. graphics drivers from Alienware m17x (186.12)

    3. Latest synaptics driver for advanced gestures :p

    4. Broadcom 4322 Drivers (5.10.105.0)

    5. Windows Update drivers for the infrared (The Dell ones would never install on the Win 7 Pre-RTM builds, but I'm not sure about RTM)

    6. Everything else from Dell

Also, of course you don't need to use the stuff I listed, but it's what works for me :)

I was running win 7 RC1 all the dell drivers and seemed fine but quickset was busted, sometimes the onscreen volume bar and other controls didn't show sometimes they did. I also got random freezes. would go for 2 whole days fine then freeze or happen every hour or so regardless of what I was doing. Went back to vista 64 premium and everything is perfect. Waiting for dell to post official windos 7 drivers and get my win 7 upgrade then I will try again.

Could you link me to the chipset drivers? I can't seem to find the correct ones?

I can't figure out what Chipset Drivers I should be looking for either.

Also, does your Dell Quickset work? I see another guy posted that his didn't (mine doesn't either) I'd like to get it running if you found a fix :)

I had the exact same problem. The volume bar wouldn't appear in Windows 7 RC, but in Windows 7 RTM, it works flawless !
