    SXPS 13 parts opinions please

    So at the moment I have two sxps 13's here; and as we speak I'm making one frankenstein one out of the best parts, and will eventually return the other with the slightly sub par parts

    things so far I've done:

    -used the better base plate, the one without the wobble obviously, lol
    -swapped keyboard/palm rests (one had slight led flicker on the multimedia keys.. seriously its like a refresh rate flicker, weird)
    - swapped dvd drives (the toshiba/samsung seams better than the LG/hitachi), its definitely quieter on insert/eject, and seems to have less vibration at max speed reads/writes)
    - thinking about ram, one set is hynix, the other qimondo; no blue screens with either, and they both pass mem test.
    -led lcds are both exact same, no difference in brightness, color temp, and no dead pixels.

    every other part is identical and performs fine, everything from revisions on heatsinks,batts, power bars, mb's are the same.

    has anyone else had any parts experiance with xps 13, also on the ram, which should i keep, is one brand better than the other?

    any opinion is welcomed

    are these from bestbuy or dell? if its from dell how'd you manage to get 2 xps? did you buy them both?

    I ordered one, then cancelled it.. and then reordered. apparently the cancelled order still shipped, along with the one I paid for.

    Dell wants me to return one as they shouldnt have shipped it, and I fully intent to do that as so I as create one more perfect one, out of the two that have minor flaws.

    id keep the one.. as long as you have the cancel conformation they cant force you to send it back

    no they cant force me, but im positive they will charge my credit card if i dont return it

    plus its all about karma :)

    anyways.. any comments about hardware? dvd drives? memory brands? anyone else have that wierd flicker on the media buttons if looked at really closely

    also has anyone overclocked their 9400 + 9200 yet?

    eh, jmoose is fine; he is getting a sxps13 9cell battery for me :) (the price diff in canada vs us is amazing, haha)
