Had originally loaded WIN 7 Pro 64 RTM a month ago (clean) and it worked fine, I redid the system when my upgrade Home Premium 64 came in from Dell, also a clean install, except this time I used all current drivers as of 2 days ago from Dell.

I started seeing a number of issues with nvstor64 "Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort0, was issued.". The system would appear to hang at different times, sometimes at cold boot.

I tried to back track what I did with the RTM install when everything worked well, it turned out I was using v 10.3.0.42 of the SATA driver. Once I reverted back to that version, the new install is working well once again.

FYI, the versions that did not work included the Dell 11.1.0.30 and nVidia's 11.1.0.33. The HDD I have is WDC WD2500BJKT-75F4T. BTW, I even unchecked Enable Command Queing with the newer drivers with no improvement.

    Has anyone run into this?

Strangely, I did but I'm not running into that now. What I hate is that the nVidia (and Dell by nVidia) drivers don't report temps either. If you use the Windows storage driver, you get temps via the internal and eSATA connections. I haven't gone back to the Windows storage driver though as I haven't run into those port reset issues in a while. Hmm...
