I set up my 5.1 speaker set have the IDT set to do 5.1. I go into PowerDVD and the speaker setup is set as 6 channel as it should be. The problem is there is no option to choose to have it NOT use any of the upmixing effects like TrueTheater HD, etc. in the output mode.

On my X-Fi card I choose 6 channels and in the output I have "none" selected as I don't want any of the fake surround sound effects.

    Anyone else have this issue?

Also when I have the 5.1 analog output setup with the 5.1 speaker set I have connected I'm not getting any surround in games, even those that have the option to use multichannel speakers.

Could all this have to do with X-Fi MB messing up the IDT 5.1 mode?
