Occasionally the "System" process takes up no less than 50% CPU usage and my computer slows down drastically. It's rare, but it's annoying. Rebooting resolves the issue. The exact same thing happens if I place my computer in "Power Saver" mode. Also, after heavy usage for more than 7 or 8 hours, and uncommon even then, the screen becomes choppy. I cannot tell what is causing this issue, but it is resolved by a reboot as well.

System specs in sig, OS is Vista x64.
