I had this problem but been lazy to deal with, but now it's getting annoying. It ejects the disc fine with the right click > eject, but the button doesn't seem to work. It doesn't give me any error messages or anything like that, its like the button's dead or something. Any ideas?

I had the same issue on my 1640 and reinstalled Dell's quick set and it worked. Can't remember where I read about this issue but it's out there somewhere.
