    *** UPDATE ***

Get it at http://files.fredfx.com/Dell Studio XPS 1645/

Anyone know where I can get this? It's not on the Dell support site, and for some reason I can't continue past Dell SmartSource after a certain step.

The MyDellDownloads is the only place to dl it, unless someone posts it for you.

Call Dell to get it shipped out to you...
But you'll only get it if it was on your original order.. ;)

I've got (4) different listings for the Facial Recognition. Some look like newer versions of the same thing, but the release dates don't indicate that.

I wish I could help, had a ton of trouble through that Dell SmartSource site, tried like every web browser. I got through eventually but don't remember how exactly. I think I ended up needing to add it as a Trusted Site in IE and setting security level very low, or something.

Ultimately I ended up uninstalling the face recognition software again because it was installing some buggy authentication provider that crashes Outlook.

I hate that crappy software anyway, but I digress.

Just call Dell and they'll send you a software cd.

Thanks. Not sure if I will use this when I do my fresh install, but it's good to know in case I decide to.
