    No this is a really easy one, anyone who purchased the SXPS online can answer it. On your receipt/invoice, the one they sent by e-mail and/or sent in the box with the laptop, was your name written on it ANYWHERE? I'm only asking people who bought the laptop online.

    Any invoice included with something sent in a box will have your name on it. Why would Dell be any different?

    I dunno, I don't order things online. Does the invoice act as a receipt in any capacity? At least, does it show the price of what I bought, including taxes paid etc..?

    No, the paperwork in the box will not act as a receipt. They mail that separately to you in a white envelope.

    Does THAT receipt have your name on it? How long does it take for that envelope to arrive, typically? I'm buying the laptop on student loans and I'm required to send in my receipt that includes my name and I have to do so by the end of July.

    You *should* get it within a week after receiving the computer. And yes, it has your name/mailing address on it, it's one of those envelopes with a window. Well, in the US anyway, but I just saw you're in Canada. Dunno how Dell Canada does things...

    I'm sure it's the same, man I gotta order soon. C'mon paypal, do your thing! Thanks Jedis, you've been a really great help. I ordered by phone but that's been so full of problems I'm cancelling that and ordering online as soon as my bank transfer goes through for paypal.
