    Hello,

Can anybody post me a picture with the 9 cell battery installed? I found one picture but it doesn't really show how it looks all together from a distance :) Is there anyone willing to shoot some pics of it for me

    Thanks in advance.

I checked those out, but I was actually wondering how it would look just standing up and with the screen open. The pictures shown there are with the keyboard facing down.

Looks like the laptop sitting on a roller.

Damn it's big! This must also mean if my battery isn't that big, it's a 6-cell? Cause I get about 2:30 - 3 hour life with it, and on my new one it was ordered with a 9-cell and have a second one coming later on, that's about 6-8 hours of battery life! O_O

The 6-cell wasn't an option on the 1645 when I ordered...Can I still one as an accessory?

Sorry to threadjack, but can someone post a picture of the laptop without the leather? Curious what I would be getting if I choose not to spend the $40. Also, how good is the color match on the red leather?

the 9-cell battery isn't too bad for me. I keep it on all the time, take the laptop with me to class, put the laptop into the microfiber cover that they gave us. it hasn't been a hassle for me, and isn't too bulky as it fits into my backpack fine.

And besides battery life, it helps elevate the machine for better air flow and also arches the keyboard for a very nice ergonomic angle.

    not quite :p

I wouldn't expect more then 4 hours on the 1645 on low power mode best case scenario. (on one battery)

Why would you expect double the battery life when it is 1/3 bigger?
You might squeeze an hour more out than the 6 cell, thats about it.
