Hi all,
I have two questions:
1. the smartsource site somehow does not work on my SXPS16; it simply reports an error saying that the addin did not work correctly. I already reported this to Dell Technical support, but they responded in some vague default email message that I should contact customer service. So I did, but never got an answer until now (sent it over a week ago). Any idea how to get the facial recognition (and other) software?
2. The registration for the Windows 7 upgrade also does not work. It reports that I am not eligible for the upgrade (which is not true, because my system complies with all demands, and it was purchased with Win7 upgrade. I also reported this, but got the run-around again:

I also sent my sales rep an email on this, but did not get an answer yet.
Any ideas?

The Win 7 upgrade doesn't seem to work until about two weeks after you have received the machine. Mine didn't work until a few days ago, then it went through. I think it's set to not upgrade until your 21 day return window has passed. JMO.

What browser are you using to access smartsource? You need to use IE, it will not work in Firefox or Chrome.

IE8, which came standard.
