I would imagine most if not all of you have the drivers from your most recent OS install extracted to the default location of C:\Dell\Drivers.

Once the drivers are installed and configured, is it safe to delete all of these folders? Or do the drivers revert back to these files for dll, ini or other data?

I know what they all are and for which devices and this huge driver folder is currently taking up 730mb of disk space. If they're not needed (some only have a few txt files and an .msi) I'd like to get rid of them.

    Thanks in advance.

They're safe to delete. I tend to save mine since I sometimes install new drivers that I am unsatisfied with, and then I have the old ones to revert back to. And with a 500GB HDD with 200GB remaining, I'm not going to be worried about space anytime in the next few years.
