I have and 18 month old Dell XPS M1730 with all the trimmings i could muster at the time of purchase, with an Extreme X7900 CPU, 2 X Geforce 8800M GTX and 4GB RAM using Vista SP2 32Bit. Yeah, well it was the best hardware profile on the day...

Anyhow, I am overclocking the hard disks and CPU from 2.8GHz to 3.4Ghz; but I am wondering if anyone knows some safe overclocking software and settings for the rame and CPU that:

    1. Won't be noticeable by any DELL technician. (I have yet nearly 18 months of DELL's top level warranty. And...

    2. Won't blow my toy up!

If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.

    Thanks! :)
