Do you guys think the bleed at the bottom of the screen is enough to warrant a replacement? I know there will be some bleed on an LCD but it seems like a lot to me. Thanks for the input!

No. Its normal. You can see bleed on black background bust as long as during usage of windows you don't see any noticable bleed, then your good.

That is what I thought when I first got it too, but my previous laptop an Inspiron E1505 which is 2 yrs old now doesn't even have that much which is why I was wondering...and since I paid enough for it I want it to be the best it can be!

If it bothers you, have them replace the screen. I believe that you should be completely happy with a new purchase. BTW I don't have any bleed with a black screen, my screen is different though.

If its an LED, its kinda a gimme that its gonna be bright. Try asking for a replacement and since you can hang on to your current one while you wait, you can compare the two and decide which is the unit you want to keep. Thats what I did.

It's not bad, i have E1705 with about that much bleed and 1530 with a little less, it all depends on luck :wideeyed: .
    Hope that helps :)
