There is no Samsung, LG and whatnot for LED Displays. Dell uses LED displays from only one manufacturer for the M1503, a leading screen-making company known as Chi Mei. Your in good hands. Majority of people have had no problems with it. There are a select few that have some backlight bleed, but it really isnt a big deal since it only is semi-noticable on black backgrounds. Be assured if there are any defects with hardware, the display wont be one of them. for me, the bottom cover of my m1530 was not screwed on right, the keyboard had bump, I got an optiarc dvd rom drive, and the laptop was unlevel. But the display was perfect.
