I don't really need screen protection, but if it reduces glare, I'd try it.

 

By the looks of it its a matte finish on the screen protector i could be wrong thow

 

Although I dont have direct experience with THIS keyboard protector, I did buy one for my Studio 15. I ended up returning the Studio 15 but I had ordered a "Studio 15 keyboard protector" before sending it back.

It came a week or so later so I tried it on my SXPS 16 and although it fits, I would NOT say that the Studio 15 and SXPS 16 keyboards are the same.. close, yes.. but to say a keyboard protector will fit both is not entirely accurate. For one, the CAPS LOCK keys on the two systems are not the same (SXPS 16 is wider), same with the ENTER key and right CTRL key.

Now, like I said, I dont have direct experience with the one the OP linked to.. but I'd bet it was made for a Studio 15 and "almost" fits a SXPS 13 and 16.. so they're selling it for all 3 laptops.. However, I'd suggest waiting for one that specficially fits the SXPS 13/16.

 

Has anyone tried out the ebay H934 screen protector on their XPS 16? Thought I should get one as I've hardly been able to restrain myself from extreme violence when someone smudges their fingers on my laptop/desktop screen at work.

Does the H934 reduce glare? I hope it uses static electricity to stay in place and will not leave any residue on the laptop screen if/when removed.

On another note, did your XPS 16 arrive with a microfiber sleeve? The sleeve is mentioned in some reviews of the laptop but I didn't recieve one.

 

You know whats weird, my wife's SXPS16 from the outlet did not have one, but my new SXPS13 came with one.

 

for outlet, it's hit and miss... you could of course call and complain

My XPS 16 was from the outlet (uk). Has anyone managed to wrangle a sleeve from the folk at the outlet? When I called I was told the laptop does not ship with a sleeve.

Actually no i haven't received yet. And im also waiting on another screen replacemnt 3rd time this time for dead pixels + Dust me no happy But i will post pictures imediatly once i receive
The screen protector was shipped out on the 8th with no tracking -_- and the expected arrival is the 17th - 24th

 

Ohh. 3rd replacement not good Well, you have that good warranty on your lappy..so continue to use that til you are *satisfied* I know it's taxing to go thru all that..but hang in there!

And, I look forward to seeing those pics, once you finally receive them..as such!

Yea i know its getting rediculos thow. The tech even said to me on the phone oh this is the third time why not send it back here and have the screen replaced here. I said its not gonna make a difference the tech that comes doesnt open the screen. If i have to return it once more i will call lemon law on the ***holes and have them replace it with the m17x for the price i payed for this thing or make them credit me some money back. 2000 for the computer and an extra 450 on the warranty afterwards. Its just unexceptable

 

Yes, it is bad..you paid for that extra warranty for a reason, and you should not, have to return it to them for replacement.

Like I said just hang in there, and try and remain positive..things will work out how they should in the end.

I sure hope so. Hopefully they send a tech with two hands this time. Literaly the guy that came to replace my screen last time had a stump of a thumb and no fingers on his right hand . He had a real hard time taking apart the computer. He scratched my palm rest a bit to I guess everything can't be perfect.
