I am running Windows 7 x64 RC1 and whenever I put the computer out of sleep mode the screen brightness is at max. I normally put it on minimum, but sleep doesn't remember that. When I boot the computer it's on the right setting, however sleep messes it up. Is there a way to fix this?

Check your Win7 Power Settings. You are most likely on the High Performance setting which is fine, just check the Advanced Power Settings and verify that the Display Brightness settings are where you want them to be. I know with Vista this setting can get jumbled on occasion. Try changing it to say 10%, save changes and then go back in and change it to what you want. Then apply changes and reboot. See if that helps.

I've already changed all settings to lowest brightness, and also went into the BIOS and changed brightness to 1 there.
