    Hey guys!

I have XPS 17 with NG matte Chi Mei screen.

Five months since I bought it.From the beginning it had small light leakage from every side of the screen.
But in the last few days I started to notice it quite easily.

I will show some pics, just to give you better idea what I am talking about.
I took them with my phone, so they are not very good but still. ;)

Is this normal and do you have light leakage on your screens?

Should I call the local Dell service center and ask them for replacement?

    Thanks in advance!

What does it look like when you have a picture on the screen. Mine can look like that. But windows or any other program I use looks fine. I have the Chei Mai screen as well. Looks great when any programs are running or just at the windows desk top. They replaced mine last week because of to much glue under the anti glare layer and both screens were exactly the same as what your picture shows.

When there are bright images on the screen, it's not that noticeable and that's understandable.

But when viewing something dark, especially when watching video, it's getting me quite frustrated sometimes. :)

Is there someone with different matte screen model willing to share some observations about the level of light leakage on it?

C'mon people! This can't be normal, especially when we speak about XPS series... :(
