    Hi all,

I have had my L502X for 3 weeks now and my service tag is still not recognised on the Dell website. When I log into my account to check my products it tells me I have no Dell products and also Dell smart source also does not recognise.

I have spoken to tech support and they say they are looking into it. They have been telling me that for 2 weeks now!

Has anyone else had these issues? I just want to get some of my software off smart source!

    Thanks

I take it you're using internet explorer and allowing it to install the add-on? If not try t.hat
Otherwise it may be that Dell forgot to set the service tag on the motherboard. When booting hold F2 and see if the service tag appears there.
If not I'm sure there is potential for some kind of fun
If it isn't set trying pressing FN and the X key at boot. You will see new options
