    Hey,

When i connect my XPS M1330 to my external monitor and I plug in the power to the laptop, the screen starts to shake!
It only happens when power is on.
My monitor is a Samsung Syncmaster 226BW.
I have tested the monitor with 2 other laptops (with and without power on) and there was no problem. So it must come from the M1330..
Any other have experience the same problem? And does anybody know how to deal with it?

Try install a newer VGA driver from laptopvideo2go.com or directly from nvidia.

before you install a new driver make sure you use a driver cleaner. This will make sure that you get a fresh install of the graphics card driver. =)

Are you connecting by VGA cable? If so, I had a similar issue. Switching to using HDMI made it go away. I think the power connection actually interferes with the VGA signal.

Good suggestion above - I replaced my VGA cable and it took away a lot of interference on the screen. HDMI is also much better.

My samsung bw226 don't have HDMI, but I could use a DVI -> HDMI converter.
Did you also use a convert or does your monitor have HDMI?
