I am wondering which Processor to go with the P8700 or T9550. I have read up on the about the difference about the Watt and the Cache. I am wondering how big of a difference it is.

The T9550 will def. be faster. I ended up going with the P8700 personally because I'm cheap lol.

The T9550! You specs are nearly the same from one vs. the other.

What do you plan on using the 1640? Are you going to be gaming, heavy multi-media usage, etc?? ;)

    Cin ;) :)

Well the P series runs at 10 watts less so you will generate less heat and slightly longer battery life.....id lean towards the P series CPU....the big bonus with the T9500 is the bigger cache..which will increase performance....tough choice goodluck

^^ then id say the P8700 is plenty enough for those tasks....the P8600 would probably be enough in all honesty.
