Hey guys with the EPP discount now I can get the XPS M1530 for about 1700 CAD but ive been hearing about issues with the 1280X800 screen and it being grainy. Should I order the laptop with the 1440X900 screen instead? Are all 1280X800 screens having issues?
If I order the higher end screen ill have to pay an extra 100 and Im trying to keep the cost low, please help me out.

MOST 1440x900 screens are the LG's. Which are perfect. I'd go with the 1440x900....the screen is beautiful. You will rarely see anyone with that resoulution have any complaints.

Oh that kinda sux cos I'll have to pay more now, are all 1280x800 screens bad? I thought what I could do is order the 1280 screen and then get it replaced if needed if it was that bad.

The screen is not bad...Some people just like the higher resolution better.

Only you can decide what screen you like. People can recommend and each one has their favorites and you end up more confused.

Just took delivery mine yesterday with 1440x900 and it's bright, crisp, and gorgeous. No complaints at all!
