I'm looking at my new SXPS 16 and on the right side of the glossy lid it looks like they didn't finish glossing it or it jammed up. Also when I run my hand over it it feels rough compared to the glossy rest of the lid. Also you can only see it at angles not looking straight down. Should I contact support?

Well if it bothers you then yes...I am not sure though they actually have to do anything because the laptop does what its supposed to?

If this is bothersome, and it will be a continued *annoyance/and or hindrance* for you, then yes...contact Dell and see what they will do for you. ;)

    Go Go Go...

Since its kind of manufacturing defect, you should . You paid for a complete "shiny" thing. May be Dell can offer you complimentary things ;) if not replacement
