I recently received my 1530 at the end of September. I am second guessing my decision to go with a 32 bit instead of a 64 bit system. I use my notebook for graphic design so I am heavy on the Adobe software, which I believe is optimized for a 64 bit system. It runs great now, but I'm thinking I may be able to make an improvement in performance.

If I wanted to upgrade to 64bit where is a good place to start and what are some things that I should take into consideration before making the leap?

Any one else share the same experience and made the leap? What are some obstacles you faced and are you satisfied with your decision to go with a 64bit system?

    Thanks.

I wouldnt call it a leap lol. It will look and pretty much feel exactly the same as your OS right now.

    More like a skip.

You need sure you have 64bit drivers for your notebook and your programs are compatible

There are threads on just this subject with links to all the drivers you will need and how to get the 64 bit disk from Dell for free.
