Hi,
I was watching a 1080p movie yesterday when suddenly the movie started stuttering real bad. I then noticed the little circle light at the side was flashing WHITE WHITE RED. (or red red white, not sure). I figured it was overheating but GPU-z and throttlestop didn't show any weird temps.
Does anyone know what the flashing code means?
I also added the throttlestop log, as you can see the c0% was totally off.
Thanks

I dunno bout that one.. I know red means low battery but that color combo has me speechless.... have you tried calling XPS support? (I know, who wants to do that on purpose, right?)

Isn't low battery orange?

Oops, yeah it is.

At first I thought my charger was dying.. my laptop was on low battery with or without the charger attached it was blinking white-white-red..

sounds like a bad battery

The light stopped flashing after 10min when i put the laptop on a stand (better ventilation).
I guess it might be motherboard overheating (northbridge etc)... but i'm not sure.. someone must know what the flashing means?
Side light flashing white/red
