    They actually quite nice, though be sure of your model type and size. I ordered the M1730 mistakenly thinking it was the same as the xps 17, but made the best of it anyway :rolleyes:

    Never tried it myself tbh. I like the basic look but a different cover might be nice too.

    On the French forum LesDelliens.com, a user did his own cover, using 3M carbon film on his XPS 15 cover. The result looked pretty sweet:

    Nope, he applied it straight on, I guess just making sure that the hairdryer used to heat the material was not blowing too hot. Don't think it is a problem though.

    Result is stunning through. Would be even more if he had managed to get the logo through by cutting that area. ;)
