    Hi Guys.

Yesterday I installed Kingston v100/256 GB ssd on my xps 15.
I ran the Crystaldiskmark and to my surprise the write speeds were way too slow (about 80-90 mb/s). Any solutions??

    I have xps 15,2630qm, 6gb ram, 525m, win 7 64HP

Try doing a search but ensure you have the laptop plugged in + set to high performance when benchmarking. Also I think the kingston is only SATAII so won't max out the laptop which is SATAIII

here is an update..I reinstalled windows and immediately after installing the drivers i ran the bench mark it gave me write speed of 150mb/s. however after two hours it is showing 120mb/s. Is this the case of bad ssd?

SSD slow down after use, you should also not repeat benchmark them as it damages them. Unfortunatley, the tech is not mature enough despite what people say. I think that hybrid SSD is the way to go. Once WD get their out, I will buy one in a heartbeat.
